But the increase in automobile transport over the last 50 years and the adaptation of infrastructure to this dominant mode of transport have turned our cities into urban areas with a low level of quality of life. We need to create new mobility concepts, e.g. more cycling, walking and shared mobility to keep cities attractive and at the same time cleaner and “greener”.
